We classify our sports injuries differently from our regular physiotherapy problems, simply because your expectations of what you want and need your body to do are often so high. We understand that sport is not just about exercise. It’s about training, competing, feeling strong in mind, spirit and body, bonding with friends, pushing yourself to new limits and making life so much better. Our physiotherapists do sport, so we know sport. We know how it feels to train for 6 months, to be feeling incredible and then to become injured and feel like life itself has stopped.
We find the problem Our experience means that we won’t spend weeks treating symptoms, and thus for you to keep breaking down. We endeavour to find the cause, and explain the reasons behind it.
If you can’t do your sport because of an injury, we will try our best to find you something to do until you can.
We guide through established training programmes, so you return to your sport safely and steadily.
All of our programmes advise on future injury prevention. We look at fitness, conditioning and technique, as well as equipment, training and competition schedules.
Tried everything to the point of giving up? We want to see you. We love difficult problems. Our approach – by looking at your mechanics, not just the site of pain – means we see things differently. See if we can find the light at the end of the tunnel.
